We made it safe and sound today and are now resting in our hotel. We actually had a very smooth day, but are all very tired. Sam did great! He really is the "best boy ever," which is what I always say to him. Security was a bit long, but they were very nice about everything. We had to have all our carry-on luggage not only emptied and checked, but also searched with the wand thing, and all three of us had to be individually searched too. They actually had to shut the line we went through down and call for more security guards to help! But that was probably the biggest ordeal of our day, and it wasn't that bad at all. Sam was wonderful and wore his mask through the airports and until we got settled in our seats on the plane (I clorox wiped down the entire area where we sat).
He was charming all the ladies, as usual, he got his own pair of "wings" from a Delta lady in Louisville, and a whole bag of candy from the flight attendant on our flight to Boston!
He fell asleep on the runway of the first flight and slept the whole time.
During the second flight he was busy playing, looking out the window, and watching tv with his Daddy.
He is already asleep, hopefully for the night. We have to be at the hospital tomorrow at 7:30am. He will have an outpatient clinic day with some usual kind of testing for him, xray, bloodwork, ekg, vitals, all that kind of stuff. Thank you for all the prayers, they definitely helped today!
Praying all goes well for Sam and for a quick recovery & safe trip home. Lots of ppl here in Muhl Co praying for all of you.
ReplyDeleteContinued prayers for you all and especially for Sam. Love your little man and love you all too. Be safe.
